The Tennessee Restaurant Association (TRA) was founded 70 years ago as an association of professionals who owned and/or operated restaurants and other foodservice businesses across the state.

TRA founders were the leaders, of what was then only a small segment of our state's economy, who had a vision of the potential magnitude of foodservice as it is today.

TRA's members consist of a broad range of leading foodservice operators and foodservice suppliers who are serious about their business and take pride in their role as responsible and caring professional leaders. They understand that this collective effort, with its pool of knowledge and resources, can and does make a difference.
