The Oregon Restaurant Association (ORA) is the leading business association for the restaurant industry in Oregon. Comprised of more than 9,000 restaurant and foodservice outlets, the industry employs a work force of more than 110,000, and creates a total economic impact of $9.7 billion.

The ORA is a not-for-profit trade organization at the forefront of restaurant associations across the nation. The Association, with its Education Foundation, works to represent, educate, and promote the restaurant industry, which is the cornerstone of Oregon’s economy, careers, and communities.

The Oregon Restaurant Association represents and protects Oregon’s restaurant and hospitality businesses and their suppliers at local, state, and national levels. With one of the state’s largest trade association political action committees and a strong government affairs team, the ORA works diligently to elect restaurant-friendly candidates, battle anti-restaurant initiatives and is one of the most powerful political forces in the state.

The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association is among the most influential trade associations in Florida. The association was established in 1946 to represent the restaurant industry. Since that time, the scope of FRLA’s representation has expanded to include the entire hospitality industry including lodging establishments, restaurants and thousands of suppliers to the industry. The association counts among its members some of the largest businesses in each of these categories.
